Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your Smoless account and everything tied to it — your logs, baseline, and profile — at any time. You don't need anyone's help to do it; the steps below walk you through deleting it yourself inside the app, and there's an email option if you'd rather we handle it.
Before you start
- This cannot be undone. Deleting your account permanently removes your logs, your baseline, and your profile. There is no way to recover them afterwards.
- Deleting your account is not the same as cancelling a paid subscription. Your subscription is billed by the App Store or Google Play, so you need to cancel it there separately — see Help & Support for how. If you only delete your account, a subscription you set up can keep renewing.
- Make sure you're signed in on the device you're using, and that it has an active internet connection.
Delete your account in the app
- Open the Smoless app and sign in if you aren't already.
- Go to the Settings tab, then open your Profile.
- Scroll to the “Subscription & account” section.
- Tap Delete account.
- In the confirmation dialog, type DELETE in the box to confirm you understand this is permanent.
- Tap Delete my account. Once it finishes, your account and data are erased and you'll be signed out automatically.
If you see an error while deleting, check your internet connection and try again. If it still won't go through, email us using the option below and we'll take care of it.
Prefer we delete it for you?
If you can't access the app — for example you've already uninstalled it — email plainforge.apps@gmail.com from the email address on your Smoless account and ask us to delete your account. Send it from your account's address so we can confirm the request is really yours; you don't need to reinstall the app.
What happens to your data
We permanently remove your logs, baseline, and profile. We may retain limited information only where the law requires it or to prevent fraud and abuse, exactly as described in our Privacy policy. If you'd like a copy of your data before you delete it, email us from your account address and we'll send it over first.
